MEET ENTRY PROCEDURES
Please keep in mind that the deadline we establish
for meet entries will be different that the meet entry deadline on the
Lake Erie Swimming website. This gives us time to process the entries
and request the check from HCER. For popular
meets we may establish a very early due date to help prevent our swimmers
from being shut out of a meet.
Under no circumstances should you
send meet entries directly to the meet host unless you are asked to do
so by the Head Coach or Meet Entry Secretary

All meet information will be
available to be downloaded on the Meet Information page

Information Page).
Please be aware of the HEAT
due dates that are listed at the top of the meet information
sheet.

ENTERING MEETS

Make sure you have enough money in your
Escrow Account. Click here to view the
Escrow Page.

If the meet has time standards please
verify that your swimmer is eligible

Submit entries on the
Meet Entry Page
You do NOT need to enter relays, we will enter relays
as a team.

Double check the entries on the HEAT
website on the Monday following the meet deadline. If you
find any problems please email
meetentry@hudsonheat.com IMMEDIATELY

MAINTAIN ESCROW ACCOUNT
Payment can be made with a
check or done online at through HCER at
www.hudson.edu/hcer.

All checks are to be made payable to HUDSON CITY SCHOOLS.
Swimmers with a negative escrow balance will not be allowed to
enter a meet until their account is in good standing.
Entries will be posted on the Hy-Tek database on the HEAT
website. Please double check to make sure your swimmers
are entered in the right events.
Families should not contact the meet host, direct all questions
to the HEAT meet entry secretary at
meetentry@hudsonheat.com.

HEAT - Day of Meet
Procedure
Arrive 15 minutes prior to schedule warm up time and
find team area and coach.
Most meet sessions will last no more than 4 hours.
All swimmers will warm up together as a team under
coaches’ supervision.
Swimmers are asked to sit with the team on deck, not
in the bleachers
Wear HEAT team suit and cap during all competitions.
If you’re attending a meet you are required
to be available for relays whether they are at the beginning or
end of a meet.
Relay selection is done at the meet and is at the
coaches’ discretion.
Always let a coach know before getting dressed and
leaving the meet.
All HEAT Swimmers will conduct themselves in a manner
that brings credit to themselves, their families, and to HEAT.
Swimmers who fail in this regard will be excluded from future
meets.
