ESCROW SYSTEM FAQ
What is it?To make it easier for you to pay the meet entry fees we have an escrow
payment system. This reduces the number of checks you will write
throughout the season. Money deposited will be held in escrow by HCER for payment of meet entry fees.
Is it required?Yes, after the success of the trial this summer we
have decided to make the use of the Escrow System mandatory. All HEAT swimmers are required to
establish and maintain an escrow account. How much to start?Your Team Fee includes a startup credit that should be adequate to cover the mandatory meets for each group.
I have more than one swimmer. Can I setup a "family" account? Our meet management software doesn't keep track at
the family level. It views each athlete individually. To make the record
keeping as straightforward as possible we need to maintain that same
level of detail with the escrow accounts. How do I add money to my Escrow Account Online?
You can
add funds to your escrow account by depositing a check in the drop box
located outside the coaches office at the pool. PLEASE DO
NOT DEPOSIT CASH IN THE DROP BOX.
What if I don't use the money? You can roll any money YOU DEPOSIT over to the next season, move it to a siblings
account or request a refund. Escrow funds that are included as apart of
the team fees as a start-up credit is non-refundable. How will I know how much money is in the account or if I'm running low on finds? You can check your balance, as well as view your
history or credit/debits, at any time via the HEAT website at
www.hudsonheat.com/escrow.htm What happens if I submit entries and I don't have enough money in my escrow account? You will
be notified you of the overdraft. You should
deposit funds as soon as possible. Accounts that remain over drawn for more than one meet will
result in the rejection of subsequent meet entries. |
